Blackhawk Church
When additional service times and satellite worship spaces could no longer accommodate growth, the church developed rural suburban land for long-term expansion
As Blackhawk Church grew from a few hundred attendees to nearly 3,000, additional service times and satellite locations could no longer keep up. The church selected a new site on 40 acres of rural suburban land, acting as its own developer to ensure the ability to expand. Supreme Structures built a new 130,000 square foot facility with multiple worship venues, generous parking, and flexible gathering spaces designed to support a wide range of ministries. What appears to be a “mega-church” from the outside – and based on attendance, is described as one – has an interior designed to create a true sense of community.
