Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel & Student Center
Long-standing campus resource retains ideal downtown location, maximizes space for 24/7 student use
Supreme Structures rebuilt the 26,000 sq ft Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel & Student Center in the heart of UW-Madison’s campus, giving the long-standing WELS ministry a modern, efficient and welcoming home while preserving its iconic character. The project replaced an aging 1960s facility on a tight downtown site and maximized every square foot to support 24/7 student use. Thoughtful planning ensured safe construction in a busy pedestrian area, while efficient systems and durable materials reduced long-term maintenance for the congregation. Today, the chapel provides worship space and much more, all designed for heavy use and future expansion.
