Supreme Structures built a 48,000 sq ft, four-story Holiday Inn Express as part of a large public-private redevelopment initiative that includes a new public library, healthcare clinic, and public parking. The hotel meets a long-standing community need by providing modern accommodations near UW–Platteville and downtown businesses, helping boost local tourism and strengthen the area’s economy.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Hotel with 72 rooms, including suites and accessible rooms
- Contemporary design with curved glass entry, barn-track conference room doors, and tilting garage-style breakfast room doors
- Amenities include a fitness center, conference room, breakfast area, heated indoor pool, and underground parking
- Demolition of six existing buildings and complex site preparation
- Supported by tax-increment financing, WHEDA and Forward Community tax credits, and private development
