Sugar River United Methodist Church

Verona, Wisconsin’s newest church now ministers from what was once a neglected bowling alley.

Supreme Structures transformed a long-vacant bowling alley into a vibrant new home for Sugar River United Methodist Church, creating a welcoming worship environment that supports the congregation’s rapid growth and community-driven mission. By developing a phased plan, the team enabled Sugar River to move in quickly, reduce lease costs, and expand ministries without the expense of new construction.

New vestibule, exterior improvements, stairway and elevator
3,700 sq ft sanctuary with flexible furnishings to allow for community rental
Acoustic enhancements including non-parallel walls and custom acoustical clouds
Salvaged bowling lane wood used in sanctuary finishes and stairway accents
Later renovation phase updated the fellowship hall and expanded building systems including HVAC, electrical, and sprinkler upgrades
