Team Supreme was 148 strong as we participated in the 2013 Crazylegs Classic on Saturday, April 27. Participants met at the Great Dane in Fitchburg bright and early. Nelson’s Bus Service donated transportation for the team to the Capitol Square for the race start. The gorgeous day encouraged all to enjoy entertainment, snacks and beverages at Camp Randall until afternoon. Post-race, the team bussed back to Great Dane Fitchburg for a party and silent auction to benefit DreamBikes of Madison.
In the weeks leading up to the race, team members and Supreme Structures employees gathered in efforts to raise awareness and support for this year’s charity. DreamBikes of Madison is a local non-profit bike shop employing disadvantaged and high-risk youth. The $2630 donation will serve as a scholarship for Phil, a Madison employee, to attend a bicycle mechanics school in Boulder, CO.
